Most university portraiture is framed by the same predictable backdrops. In building this new art and design school’s brand, we wanted to show off our community’s creative energy. I collaborated with local photographer Anna Powell Denton to curate a beautiful portfolio of authentic environmental portraits, so that our anyone visiting our website could get a sneak peek of who we are.

Our third issue of “Vision” magazine, highlighting unique stories from the 2018-19 academic year. This annually produced print piece has countless uses, but is developed and designed with a few key audiences in mind: donors, friends, alumni, and the IU community. As a school with fourteen varying areas of study, it is a constant challenge to sum up our many parts and catch a viewers attention at first glance. This flexible and fun type design was created to do just that—highlight our diverse disciplines and build awareness.

This annually produced print piece showcases our undergraduate degree programs and areas, and is designed and written for high school students who are curious about our programs.
